Getting started

Download and run VIDA.exe. On first launch, choose a master password — it encrypts all your data. Remember it well.

The password and losing it

The password never leaves your computer. If you lose it, there is a procedure for setting a new master password, described in the program itself (Settings → Security).

Setting up Dropbox

In Settings, enter your Dropbox App key. VIDA only ever uploads encrypted files. Sync requires a subscription.

Adding a WooCommerce shop

Open Ordering → Shops and add a WooCommerce shop address. The catalogue loads automatically.

Entering the subscription code

In Settings → Subscription, paste the code you received by email. The code is one long line. Once entered, hour totals and sync are enabled.

Changing language

The interface language is changed in Settings → Language. 79 languages are available.

Updating

On startup VIDA checks for a newer version and offers the download. Updating is optional.
